Alameda Point

Conscious Construction partnered with Alameda Point Redevelopers to rehabilitate a 270,000 SF storehouse, utilized by the Navy from 1941 – 1997.

The building has been vacant for over 20 years, and was in need of extensive demo, abatement and clean up work before beginning construction. Conscious oversaw all the interior demo, and led a crew in the sandblasting and clean up of over 400,000 SF of surface area inside the building.

While the greater Bay Area has undergone a massive transformation over the past twenty years, Alameda Point has remained relatively untouched. Building 8 promises to be a beacon of housing and commerce in an area that has been without either for decades.
