A challenging conversion of a 12,000 sq.ft. industrial space into a vibrant, safe, contemporary school was exacerbated by the condensed construction time-frame. Our diligent pre-construction planning with subcontractors, vendors and suppliers laid the groundwork for an efficient building process, reaching our client’s goal of opening doors on the first day of school.

This project involved creating an elaborate one hour rated egress fire corridor and extensive reframing of existing conditions to meet all life safety requirements. Additionally, we installed 5000 sq. ft. of versatile polastic flooring to allow for highest and best use of the new assembly room which is used for multiple events and activities as the center point of the school.
