Conversion of a dilapidated and underutilized garage to a contemporary, clean, and super functional ADU. This one bedroom, one bath ADU also includes a utility closet with a stacked washer and dryer. The goal was to make a great space on a cost effective budget. We seismically upgraded as much of the original structural bones of the garage as we could and re-cladded the structure with corrugated metal siding to make it extremely weather tight while also giving it a contemporary and interesting look.
