The homeowner’s deeply rooted environmental sensibility strongly influenced this whole-house remodel of a neglected Mission style home in the Berkeley Hills. The house was stripped to its bare bones, and new foundations, electrical systems including PV panels, plumbing with solar thermal heating and an additional 750 sq. ft. of living space were created.
Finishes of this home feature a full custom kitchen and master bath, tinted Venetian plaster interiors, soji-style window treatments and artisanal tile and ironwork.
Jeff and Tyson were always responsive and their craftmanship and knowledge was extremely impressive. I liked their subs and in particular the respectful relationship that they had with their team (who were hardworking and easy to be around). I feel lucky to have had them do my work.
