The Center for ArtEsteem in Oakland offers community classes to youth in West Oakland.  After purchasing this 100+ year old home, Conscious Construction began the renovation of this space from a family home to a community center that includes classrooms, studios, offices with an efficient kitchen for the students and staff. Custom iron work, natural wood trim, new windows, detailed mosaics all contribute to the artistic vibe.
